In view of the outbreak of COVID-19, various government advisories, and lockdown in the country, IAF Airmen Exam STAR 01/2020 online exam scheduled from 19 – 23 Mar 20 was postponed.
Indian Air Force has recently announced that they will be postponing the IAF Airmen Selection Exam STAR 01/2020 until further notice. They will announce the new dates of the selection exam in May, most likely. According to the notice, the exam will most likely be held after the lockdown is lifted on May 3, 2020, but no dates have been finalized yet.
The announcement was made through an official notice released in the Indian Air Force website indianairforce.nic.in. Candidates who want to read the detailed notice can do so by visiting the website.
The official notice released by Indian Air Force reads,” In view of the outbreak of COVID-19, various government advisories and lockdown in the country, STAR 01/2020 online exam scheduled from 19 – 23 Mar 20 was postponed. Fresh dates will be intimated in the second week of May 2020.”
The recruitment exam dates will be finalized most likely after the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown is lifted.
In a notice dated March 18, 2020, IAF had announced that they will be conducting the STAR 01/2020 exam in the last week of April, but this had to be further postponed due to the ongoing health crisis in our country due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The notice dated in March read,” In view of the outbreak of Coronavirus, various government advisories and Section 144 at many places, STAR e-Pariksha planned from 19 Mar 20 to 23 Mar 20 has been tentatively postponed to the last week of Apr 2020.”
All recruitment and entrance exams are being postponed till after May 3, 2020, due to the extension of the nationwide lockdown. Apart from this, all educational institutes have been shut down because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Therefore we advise the students who are going to appear in IAF Airmen Exam STAR 01/2020 to stay at home and prepare for their forthcoming exam in a better way.
